Hi Ellie, welcome to CDH from another UK member - I am down in the Cotswolds but grew up only a little bit south of Yorkshire.

There are 2 towns close to where I live; the roadside signs as you drive into them are:

"Fairford - a good place to be"

"Farringdon" (to which someone has added the words "Twinned with Roswell, New Mexico"

Well, I can absolutely assure you there are no aliens on this site; it really is a good place to be where you will meet like minded cross dressers,  make many friends, share experiences, receive and give encouragement, have fun. Just get stuck in and explore the site and, at your own pace, reach out, contribute and interact!

Welcome to CDH from another UK girl.

You’ll find that there are quite a lot of us here from this side of the pond.

Many of us here have very few people that know about this side of our lives, a lot, myself included, have no one that knows, so a place like this offers us a safe space to talk about something we don’t get the chance to otherwise. It’s no exaggeration to say that being here can be life changing.

We’re also very friendly, and love to chat, so explore the site, and feel free to ask anything you may want to know.

Hi Ellie and welcome to CDH from yet another UK girl, I'm not too far from London.  Congratulations on being in touch with your inner girl so early in life! I think quite a few of us will be looking back and thinking 'if only ...' 🙂  

There's loads of information on here to help you with any aspect of dressing, or just ask questions on the forum, we all love sharing advice and helpful tips.  Or you can share even your innermost girly thoughts and no-one will judge you for it, on the contrary you'll most probably get plenty of similar responses 🙂

Hi, Ellie N. I'll use that for the moment because we've also got Ellie D and if I don't demarcate, I'll get stuck in the "Two doctors" sketch for hours again.

I was in my early 20's once, also loved crossdressing and had no-one in my life who knew. And certainly not anything like this amazing community. You are lucky indeed, Ellie, to have found this place so early in your life. You also show wisdom beyond your years in joining us here.
