Thank you for the kind words and not just you to everyone it really helps and I've never really thought about a femme name the only thing I've ever done is dress up and look pretty or cute I'll have to think on it

In my case Ellie already knew what she was called.

I didn't have to think about it ... she'd been there inside me all along, and when I finally let her out she introduced herself!

Hello Sam welcome to CDH. The good news is the Keystone Event is held in Harrisburg PA March 20-24 about 2 hours and 15 mins from you. I am glad you have shared a part of who you are in your background and introduction. Having found us you have made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression some just crossdress in varying degrees and some are on the path to transition ir some have. You do you and be who want and are comfortable with dont be pressured by anyone to less or more than what you would like to become.

There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. Being here helps not only yourself but helps others gain acceptance and confidence I am happy you have made the step to be here. Welcome!

There is little to be wary of on CDH. Going outside is a different matter for some of us, though.

As for a femme name, you could keep it simple and just use Sammy / Sammie / Sammi. It makes is pretty legitimate to use as an alternative ID, too, such as for a credit card.

Hi — Welcome! I'm new here, too. I'm not new to crossdressing -- started as a 13-year-old and I'm 71 now -- but only recently discovered this site. Lots of good advice and encouragement here, intelligently shared with care and kindness and affirmation. It's the best CD site I've found, and there are quite a few others, but none on the level of Crossdresser Heaven.
