Hi,
I'm hoping to make some friends and share experiences about cross-dressing. I am quite new to cross-dressing (maybe 6 months) and I realised I'd locked this away a long time ago when this part of me first asserted itself.
I have enough stuff to get dressed up fully and though I am a makeup novice, I can get a sense that I like what I see dressed up. I'm also very tall (6'4") so I envy shorter girls who can go out in public and find more variety in shoes (US size 15/16 for me). It's also hard to feel like I look great when I know I would seem freakish in public.
Right now I'm really trying to figure out where I fit into the world. I don't think I want to transition but I'm still pretty confused and I feel like I am changing all the time. I do wonder if there are others out there that feel the same?
Hugs,
Scarlett
Hi Scarlett and welcome to CDH. Height is not all it is to being a woman. I know you may not see yourself as that perfect woman but many of use do not and even many Genetic Girls (gg) do not see themselves as the perfect woman. : ) It is about being who you are inside and being able to express that part of you freely. I think you will enjoy it here at CDH there are may ladies in the same place as yourself and you can learn a lot from them and we can all grow together that is what I love about this place. Everyday I meet a new person or learn something new or just am able to relax and be myself with others that do not judge me for who I am. I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do. Say hello any time.

Hi Scarlett! Welcome to CDH and a bunch of wonderful girls! I understand your being worried about not looking like a perfect gg but as Sara Marie said, not even all gg’s look perfect. I used to worry about wearing heels, going in public and a whole host of other frivolities, but now can safely say... who cares? I am me and wish to only be happy with myself. I regularly go out and about doing whatever I want and do so without any issues. Yes I get that occasional “look” but nobody bothers me and I bother nobody. So you go girl and find yourself! Being true to you and happy and comfortable in your own size 15’s is all that truly matters. I hope you find a wonderful and supportive sisterhood here at CDH and look forward to seeing you around.
