Just a note to say hi 🙂 I am actually not a cross dresser but my BF is. I came to this site hoping to understand more and make friends, also to help our relationship continue to grow. My BF isn't on here, not comfortable with that yet so I try and share what I learn with him as well. I also thought this would be a good place to kind of out myself as a significant other and not a cross dresser and I don't want to mislead anyone.... not sure how to specify that in my profile. I do want to say that I think all of you are very brave and reading some of the posts in the open forums have made me just sit here and cry because there is so much pain and fear in some of those posts. I truly hope each of you find love and acceptance here and in your life outside of here. We ALL deserve love and acceptance regardless of what we wear or our gender identities.
About me.... I am a bit of a conundrum....I cry at every sappy movie but in my own life am a pretty tough cookie! I am very social!!! I love to read and go to the movies and I especially love to go out dancing!!! I am also a full time nursing student and mother to two teens, one of which is in treatment for leukemia so life is tough at times. My BF is a great guy and has been an amazing step dad to my kiddos.... shoot I swear my daughter is more His than mine! The kids don't know about his CD and I only found out last month....but we love each other and that is that. Also I refer to him as a him because I always have and he says he feels like a guy still...not trying to be offensive to anyone, least of all my BF. Looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
You've definitely come to the right place. CDH has some amazing resources and the most loving group of girls I have ever met. I've been here just under a month and have changed in so many amazing ways. I hope you get everything that you need and that your bf chooses to join as well and get the support that he needs. This is a judgement free zone and is filled with people who are going through the same experiences and confusions as both of you surely are, he does not have to fear about talking to any of us at all.

While having a partner that is a CD may add an element to an intimate relationship that you have not previously directly dealt with, your openness and proactively looking to resources like CDH for answers speak volumes about your love for him, and your character as a woman! He's very lucky to have you as a partner.

Your BF is fortunate to have the love, acceptance and support that too many of our community don't have.
If ever we can help you or him in any way then you only have to ask. There are no silly questions; it can be a steep learning curve and even after over 60 years of crossdressing I am still learning about myself and others.

Hi Ang, and welcome to CDH. It's nice to meet a wonderful person such as yourself. Your boyfriend is incredibly lucky. My wife is also very understanding and very helpful, and it's been an absolute boon for me as I explore and learn to have somebody I can ask questions, get advice, and so on.
