Hello Jessica welcome or welcome back to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are. Having found us you have made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or level of public expression and or personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression from differing levels of crossdressing to those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of self acceptance and expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or space were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are that you are not alone and this is a place where you can feel safe to express and share part of yourself as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or a complete human being expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. Being here helps not only yourself but helps others gain acceptance and confidence I am happy you have made the step to be here. Welcome!

Welcome back Jessica. I recently came back after a couple of years of hiatus.

Welcome back. I'm somewhat new here, but I'm curious....why did you take the hiatus? Just curious. We all learn from each other and all of our stories are lessons for the rest of us.

Hey Jessica

Now, 'back to femme' seems to mean that you stopped dressing for a while and have have now started again. People are curious about that.

And they're unsure whether you were a former CDH member who went missing in action and has now returned to the fold, or whether you're joining us for the first time. They're curious about that too.

I can understand that the girls are interested in the backstory. I TOTALLY get that.

However, I've read your profile. Personally, I'm only interested in one thing.

In response to the prompt, 'Told anyone I crossdress?' you wrote 'Yes - my tree.'

Now:

a). I love this so much, and will happily be your friend on the basis of that one answer alone, and ...
b). Please explain before I explode with curosity.

My tree 😁 - broad support network with deep roots - therapist first, SO partially (very), girlfriends and online communities - plus who doesn’t like a good oak tree to sit under on a sunny day x

Hi Jenny,

over the years for a variety of reasons I’ve tried to leave it all behind. Every time it’s more dramatic as I’ve always came back deeper - so the purges get more expensive. A lot of the time it’s really been to help my mental health as I felt it was starting to consume me and life/job were getting effected

Well, that makes perfect sense now that you've explained it.

I guess it would have been less desirable if the only living thing that you'd come out to was an ACTUAL tree.

However, I would have found that quite magical 🙂

It's very much the sort of thing that I would do.
