hello Gail Rich.   nice to have you here on C.D.H.  here you are not alone. we all have the same trouble if i may say, its good that your wife knows of your x dressing, she might come around soon. my wife found out when my daughter seen a pic of me all dressed up. they both seen it and daughter said to mom its his body.   i started with a pair of tights in a school play, i was hooked. but my x dressing went away for years. then came back again and still here. i am not fighting my desire to x dress any more. i have excepted my x dressing. now i am 54 and i have accumulated lots of dresses, panties, nylons, bras, and even pads, make up, perfume, jewelry. i have more then my wife does and even wear female cloths more then she does. she lets me dress up but rather not see me but i know she does see what i look like at times.   its getting better. i x dressed 1 day in front of her, put on my bra and panties, my make up and perfume. did not seem to bother her at all.  i think she feels that i know now what its like to dress up, plus she sees what a different person i am when dressed up. i feel happy and free.   welcome to C.D.H. hope you will look around and find new friends and get more info and get to be the real you. you are not alone here.

Thanks forte support, Lucinda. I hope my wife does come around, but I'm not holding my breath. She has see me in lingerie on occasion, and I sometimes sleep in a nightgown and panties, but when I brought up the subject of dresses or skirts, she was pretty firm. She knows which closet I keep my stuff in and I think she has checked it out. (isn't it supposed to be the wife who suspects the husband has touched or gone through her clothes?). Of course, I have more clothes in an alternate hiding spot. I wouldn't want her to know just how much I have.

oh i hear  you there,  i sleep in a  night gown every night with lacy panties and pad.  ya when i bring up the  subject about dressing up my wife does the same. but she lets me dress up,  how about hearing my story on how i feel when dressed up? she don't want to hear it. oh well life goes on and i will live my life the way i want to and enjoy it while i am alive. Y.O.L O. you only live once.  its nice that my wife lets me dress up when no one is home as in 2 adult kids, but sharing it with her while i am dressed up and talk like 2 females. is a not. maybe one day she will let me sit in same room as her and talk about my feelings and how i feel dressed up,  i know how she feels about my dressing up, its hard on her, she married a man not a girl she told me. but i feel much better dressed up and depressed free and relaxed.  but she wont hear that or believe that. she wears pants and a shirt or sweater, nothing sexy any more, besides a bra. big deal. my wife knows where my female clothing is, half the closet and 2 drawers full of panties, bras, nylons. i don't hide any from her any more. i have my perfume on my dresser, my ear rings on a wall hanging up on a ear ring hanger i made from wood and hooks. clip on, no pierced ears.

I know what you mean about your wife only wearing pants. That's OK but not me in  skirt. Fortunately my wife travels a lot so I have many opportunities to dress. But a few weeks ago, I noted that she hadn't been away for a while and that if she was going to be out all day, I would take the opportunity to dress and asked if she would call to give me a heads up when she was on her way home. She said she would call, but didn't want to discuss it, and if I planned to do it again, just to tell her to call and not to mention why. How I would love to go shopping with her. Even in my male attire. I have been to a few stores dressed in male clothes and have had helpful sales help, who even let me try things on in the store. It would be something we could share. I go shopping with her much lest frequently as a result

Hi Gail, very enjoyable getting all dressed up and pretty. The others here have many tips and ideas about being fem. I just go out dressed. That is to say: some makeup, painted nails, hair style that can be brushed to look fem. I am fortunate to be able to wear women's clothing everyday that looks gender neutral.

hi Gail   welcome it's so nice you have joined our family. There'sno need to feel alone anymore. There are many a gal here more than willing to offer comfort and support and truly understand what's happening. Have support closed to you is a blessing but hard with not.
