I am so glad to be back at CDH. This is the third time I have returned to this wonderful community of girls. I made so many wonderful friends when I was here last time. I hope to reconnect with them and make new friends as well. I missed all the support and love from the girls that make this community so important to all of us.
Over my time away from CDH, I have become more comfortable and confident in who I am as a woman. There is so much joy when I express myself as Julie, I cannot deny this part of who I am. So much of my thoughts revolve around my feminine side, the wonderful feeling I get when my look is just right. I love seeing my smile after my transformation from male to female. I love it when people refer to me as miss or give me a compliment on how I look. It is so much fun shopping for women’s fashion or getting a makeover and my nails done. Who could ask for more in life, then to be able to express myself as a woman.
This lifestyle can be difficult; my wife does not approve of Julie. I do not want to lie to her, so I must be careful, so I must be careful what I tell her. If she does want to know if I dress, I will tell her. This has put a strain on our relationship, but this is an important part of who I am. I hope she can someday become tolerant of my feminine side. It is not my place to demand that she accept Julie, after all she did not expect this to be a part of our marriage. Acceptance would mean the world to me, having the freedom to be who I am would be wonderful.
When I do get a chance to dress, I make the most of my time. Spending time with dear friends having lunch or going shopping is so precious to me. Sharing our feminine adventures with so many wonderful girls is truly a dream come true for me. I look forward to my time here at CDH hopefully for many years to come. I am a Vegas girl and would love to meet other girls from Las Vegas or nearby.

And you sound so confident in your feminine persona (apart from your wife's attitude). You still have more than a lot of us. Please promise you'll stay this time. Why did you leave? Twice.

@glowgirl Julie, thank you for sharing your feelings. Your confidence is inspiring and please accept all the support from all of us who struggle with expressing our feminine identities. The CDH community gives me strength and courage to accept my own femininity without guilt or shame. It's who I am and I don't question it (too much) any more. Lana was gone for a couple of months, I don't know why but I don't worry about it any longer since joining CDH. She comes and goes, and now I always welcome her back.
