Welcome to CDH.  Most of us understand your situation and you have come to the right place to find many of your answers.   This is a great site with many ladies that have been through similar things in their lives as you have.  I'm sure you will find someone here in the forums or chat room that will have very similar situations maybe even in your area.  I was hidden from everyone for over 40 years tell I finally told my wife but still have to hid Sara from everyone else.  It is never easy but there is so much help out there today compared to the past.  Check for local support groups and the like online you may be very surprised as I was to find something very near you.

Hello dear soul, , yes, you have found a place where many of us have been in exactly the same spot.

I am 56 years on now and have been openly crossdressing, even elected as Mayor of our little rural Saskatchewan town of 50 people. I was completely hidden from everyone here, including my wife, who knew I did it before we were married but has had to grow with me through the process, and has risen to the task with flying colors.

We all nee someone to talk to or we go crazy trying to hold our femm side down.

Short story...2 years ago I was still closing the curtains and locking the door when Charee wanted to express herself; I began saying "outloud" when no one was around, and feeling "as if" it were true..."I Am so happy and grateful to be surrounded by people who love me, support me, and accept me just as I Am"...last October the locals knocked on  my door and "asked me" to run for mayor. "We dont care about what you wear, just help us with our town"

Now, I cut the lawn in a two piece aqua bikini!! I have pics here...The way I appear in the pics is the way I appear all over town now...That affirmation has become my real life now...And, I Am grateful...

Welcome, I'll say what others have said, this is a great place to find friends and support. It can be difficult, and maybe even destructive to be hiding and living a double life, worrying about being "found out". But here you can be free with your femme side.

Depending on your locale, there might be a local group of CDer's who meet and get together, and perhaps that might be an option for you. I know that it might be too scary to actually go out and meet others you don't know, and depending on where you live, you might want to go to another city to do this.

Explore this site, and you will find some new friends to share your femme side with.
