Hi all 🙂 Although I've always enjoyed slipping into female clothes, either jeans or shirts made for women, recently I've been looking into new things and finding ways to pursue this passion further. Everything has to stay rather practical as there is no real "budget" for clothes. So I've started with undergarments for now, body shapers, bandanna bra and tights. I think my next adventure will be in makeup. I look forward to learning from all you ladies, especially from the South, where it gets so hot, less really is more (comfortable).
Charlene welcome . Find much of what your looking for right here as our forums offer a wealth of information and knowledge to help you in your quest to express your feminine self. I too started with just the simple things like panties and hosiery but in time you with notice that carving to add more. myself; just within a year I've assembled quite a wardrobe, from dresses, shoes, and many accessories and as for the budget well it's been interesting but so much fun to shop. Meet with some of our ladies and I'm sure they can help with makeup and such. You'll enjoy being part of us here and in time feel the enjoyment of truly believing who you are .very nice meeting you and hope to see you here soon

Hi Charlene, I live in Charleston , and if you are also from the Lowcountry perhaps we could meet for some girl talk....even if our first meeting may have to be in drab. Welcome to CDH... Let's keep in touch Gloria
Welcome Charlene! Hope you enjoy our site and if there are any questions, any of us will be glad to assist you. I am in regular contact with 2 girls from South Carolina....you make 3. My favorite dress is a southern bell dress....just love it but no cotillions up here! Looking forward to hearing more from you sweetie!

Welcome aboard Charlene.
You have started down the rabbit hole and there is no turning back. It took a while but now I have more femme clothes than boy crap. Never purge, you will NOT be able to stop. You might take a break, maybe, but you WILL resume dressing, guaranteed . Gets expensive replacing your wardrobe.

Hi Charlene....
Welcome to CDH.
I try to buy dresses that are timeless in fashion. I do buy a few items that are "in fashion" but for the most part I look for items that never go out of fashion. I find this helps me stay within my budget.
Now makeup is another story...lol
I have to keep telling myself I don't need every Fall eyeshadow palette or that new multi colour lipstick collection.
Makeup can be overwhelming. There is a good forum on this site be sure to check it out. Also there are tons of youtube videos out there. And if in doubt give a shout out. The ladies here will be glad to help.
Welcome Charlene!
