Hi Lexie and nice to meet you and welcome to C.D.H. like every one else here as either just joined or have been here for years, i found this site a few years ago and love it. the girls are very under standing. for buying cloths, try the good will store if you feel the courage to go out and buy dresses, just know your size, i went to a store and bought a dress my size, the cashier did not even say nothing , i just ask the person if it don't fit my wife can i bring back for the right size. now i feel more comfortable buying in stores for dresses.   i buy make up and perfume and nylons and bras and panties and pad in stores.  i also buy on line. i seem to have more female cloths then wife does for i took over her dresses for she don't wear them any more.   wife knows and lets me dress up only when 2 adult children are out, i love dressing up. its like my male side is not here and dressing up like i should be wearing.    get the courage to buy in store, then go from there.  welcome again to C.D.H.

Hi and welcome: can't really add to the other comments regarding the site.

Buying clothes: at first it can be difficult but as confidence grows you'll feel more at ease. Here in the UK several chain stores offer a 'click and collect' service: browse the site, choose and order and the items are ready to collect from a store of your choice: plain packaging so nobody but you knows what's inside. I mainly buy clothes from our chain stores: I'm an everyday type of gal, though they do stock some more exotic styles. I just present my stuff at the checkout: they can think what they wish!

I'm lucky in that I can also shop with my wife, but I have no problem going solo, if for example I'm away on business and see something that takes my fancy.

Charity (thrift in the US??) shops are a good source. One such that I regularly visit has a very understanding lady who guessed my purpose: I selected a nice dress and was about to claim it was for my wife when she said "that will look nice on you, dear" I blushed a little and smiled. Now, she puts things on one side that she thinks I may like! Win win: helping those less fortunate and finding some nice items. I also recycle clothes back as a donation.

hello Marie nice to meet you and all the other new comers to this site. like every one says us girls are here to chat and learn more about x dressing. i have been with this amazing site for a few years now and love it. i came out of the closet so to speak and tell the other girls my side of x dressing  which i could not tell some one in person, but in terms i have. though C.D.H. i feel secure. my wife found out a few years back. lets me dress up but only when no one is home besides her and me. feel free to look around and also read up on my post to learn more about me
