I'm New Too

Hi Petra, welcome to the friendliest place on Earth.  This community is so welcoming and they will give you amazing advice on any issues you may have.  My wife took several days to come to terms when I told her but now she is actually comfortable with me wearing dresses and skirts around her. Hopefully your wife will be the same.

I had surpressed this feelings for many a year but this year I couldn’t hold back. Told my wife after 39 years, the shock, the tears but many a talk? things became acceptable. Now I do dress but  only at home. I still feel uncomfortable dressed in front of my wife and don't do it as offern as I can but she wouldn't mind if I did more offern. My Liberties are improving but under my strict wife’s following  Lol!!!  I’m moving along just nicely. To share the feelings of femininity with someone so close to you  is a wonderful experience. Thanks for all of your replies.  While I'm a guy's guy most of the time (I coach ice hockey and play golf), I love exploring my feminine side with girlie undergarments, stockings, dresses, skirts, tops, makeup, jewelry, etc.   It's taken me quite a while to come to this realization, but it's so much fun I just have to do it!  Perhaps one day we'll all be able to wear what we want when we want to.

I just took a shower, shaved my legs and arm pits, my chest, put on lotion, put on my girlie pyjamas, and feel fantastic!  I am happy to be a girl!

Or at least be accepted in it.

I cant add much that these lovely ladies have already said but You have come to a wonderful careing and supportive place . and congrats on wife atleast giving some support just take your time as we say baby steps and lots of conversations when the timing is right just pick your time and slide into the subject with wife and don't be pushy baby steps will help . girlfriend good luck and again nice to meet you and hope to see you around for a chat sometime .

Hi Petra You should love those feelings They are just as much a part of you as anything else that is apart of you,. Your wife knows those feelings because she has them too. Getting them to understand why you have the same feelings about wanting to feel cute and pretty some time or even all the time can be a challenge for sure, but all it is a challenge nothing more. Take it slow read what other members have posted add a comment when comfortable. learn what others have done to overcome their challenges. Thanks, Stephanie.  I'm pretty close to talking to her about it, although I fear it will be a difficult conversation.  I'm also feeling close to my own feelings about my feminine side.  Hope the next few days will bode well.  Thank for your and everyone else's support!  I'm happy I have found this site.

I love myself no matter what persona is front and center at any given moment of the day. If you have not had that conversation with your wife about expanding your crossdressing experience around her, before you do, send me a private message and put the word “approach” on the subject line. I will send you an approach method that might be successful in getting her to be more accepting and supportive of your crossdressing journey.
