Hi Jenni,
Welcome to CDH!
I think you will find the community helpful, encouraging and supportive.
Hoping being here will maybe help you buy more, purge less.
A girl can wish that for a sister. (and buying is way so much fun!) 🙂
Again, welcome to CDH!
Catherine
Hi Jenni,
Welcome to CDH it's nice to meet you we are like one big happy family on here so don't be shy come on in and join the family,
I'm a mature crossdresser I've been dressing most of my life since i was about 8 or 9 years old when i tried my older sister's lingerie on I'm still in the closet to my family,
I'm sorry i can't meet up with you for a coffee I'm on the other side of the pond in the UK, I'm sure there are lots of girls near to where you live who will be happy to meet up with you for a coffee and a chat I'm sure you will find lots of friends on here so if you have any questions just ask and the girls will get back to you,
We have all been there dressing and liking it then feeling the shame and purging, but there is no need to feel ashamed it's who we are just people who love wearing what is deemed women's clothes nothing more nothing less, we don't hurt anyone by wearing a bra and a dress 👗,

Hi Jenni, and welcome 🙂
Remember - the trick is DO NOT PURGE!
You will always regret it and it costs a fortune 😉
Hi Jenni, and welcome to CDH. You'll find plenty of support and understanding here in this wonderful sisterhood.
Feelings of shame about what we do are very common. As others have said, we know exactly where you're coming from and can relate. My own first purge occurred when I was 14. I'd been dressing regularly at home for a year, whenever my parents were out. I kept all my stuff in a holdall in my wardrobe. One day I was horrified to discover my secret stash of clothes was not in the holdall. After a frantic search I found everything in a black plastic sack behind a chest of drawers in my parents' bedroom. Obviously this meant that one or both of my parents now knew my secret, and yes, I felt deep shame.
It happened to be dustbin day, so I took the bag and, vowing to never crossdress again, hurled it into the passing refuse truck. I've had several purges since then, though they've increasingly been more due to fear of discovery than shame.
Anyway, you are definitely not alone!
Take care.
Purging is common and everyone says they regret it. Perhaps there are people who have purged and never came back. But I've never heard anyone say that. Early on I would, shop, dress, purge in small intervals. Then dressed for a four or five years and then had a major purge. I immediately felt like I had lost a family member. It was a very sad feeling. I remained purged for almost ten years but the shopping and dressing infiltrated my dreams. The urges were strong anytime I was near a woman's clothes department. I've been back now for seven years and force myself to wait it out anytime I feel like I should purge because I know I'll regret it.
Hi Jenni,

I can safely say I have never purged. I only started this lark at the end of last year and since my wife knows and is supporting I doubt I'd be able to chuck anything out without her going through it first to see what she could wear (not that I'm going to).
