@harriette Yes, even though I am 68, I have only dress once around age 30. Just got my outfit wigs to shoes. No knowledge about makeup though.

I'm in Norfolk in the UK.
I'm trans, and have cross dressed all my life, but didn't tell anyone else that until I was 59. The catalyst for that was joining this site. The support that I found here enabled me to come out to family (as well as neighbours and delivery people!) as well as to get out and about dressed. And I'm loving it!
This really is an amazing community.

Like you, I was 68 when I joined, just over a year ago, and I had hidden and denied my feminine half all my adult life. This community, and the friends I've made here, quickly changed that. In that time, I shaved my 40 year old beard off, just today I had my first professional full leg, arm and chest waxed, and last October, met some friends and spent two days en femme in public!
There's loads of encouragement and support here, including makeup tutorials but you should also check out YouTube, there's more stuff than anyone could need!
So, have a good look around and just ask if you need anything.
