My femme name is Kim Bender. I am married, in late middle age, and I live in a rural community in the Northwest. I don't crossdress with much detail, though at home I mostly wear skirts (I have been crossdressing for seven years). My wife is very supportive, but I am not out to the community because it is very conservative and I have a visible public job. I consider myself an MTF, though I don't plan to transition.

I know how restrictive a Conservative or little community can be. It get's smaller when you re act at church and the community. Went out twice within my community and frightened me. Wasn't until I went to L.A. for extended period of time that I went everywhere as me. It was liberating but now back in Texas I feel restricted and going up the walls at time. I love putting on makeup and being out and about. Shopping and picking up a few things. Hopefully, we'll bedding that a few weeks from now for a couple days. Take care KG
