hello Vicki   nice to have you here.    your question is that I don't under stand what you are asking? what makes me dress up?  is that what you mean.?  its all about letting my fem side out for who I should of been. I feel that I am a female trapped in a mans body. but I have to play the roll of a man when I can and female when I can.

Sorry, I meant what do people here favour when dressing? I have my preferences, but I'd love to hear others ideas. The shoe/boot thing I'm really finding a bind.

Vicki   there, it so nice you have joined our little family. Just by your decision to be here your desires seam to be developing. Most start with simple undergarments , panties and so on and in time work on full dress. Your thoughts are starting and it will begin to show. Wait till you slip on those first pair of heels then  you’ll realized just what your true feelings will be.  Help is everywhere on clothing,  makeup and how to pick shoes and it's not easy I do know. But I assure you it's an experience one will never forget. Need help? , just ask many of these remarkable ladies all here to offer advice and support. Long Tall Sally have nice footwear up to ( UK ) size 12, and I think they also operate in the U.S. ? Maybe not so much choice in heels in larger sizes, but some lovely sparkly ballerinas  🙂

i am pretty new at his too, I like to dress in skirts since I can make everything bette, medium for skirt and large for top. I like form fitting  since it feels better, for length, above knees, no more than four inches. Pencil style skirts or flare, same for dresses. I find the flare gives some shape to the figure without effort. Hope this helps.

Hi, Vicki...and welcome. I favor age-appropriate clothing, and as a Senior girl, that usually means jeans, tops or sweaters and flats. The "footwear" comment suggests you have rather large feet (as do I). Since Payless Shoes closed, it's been difficult for me. Amazon features a brand called Luioka, which has large, wide shoe sizes, and there are two online sources, Zappo's and FSJ Shoes, which can fit you.

I don't have a large collection of clothing, so I wear what I have. I like lose fitting tops, preferably with a bit of lace or embroidery. I like leggings, but have recently got a pair of black high waist jeans that I really like. I like dresses to☺️
I get most of my clothes, including clothes in charity shops. The clothes are cheap and eclectic. No one cares that I am shopping for female clothing and they are happy for me to try stuff on.

Welcome to CDH.  I like being comfy so prefer maxi dresses or long skirts.  Catherines and Torrid carries shoes to size 12 and in a wide width.  Both are CD friendly too.  Payless did carry larger sizes but alas went out of business.

My mood and intended activity dictate alot of my clothing choices. I have a fairly extensive wardrobe which has been acquired by in person shopping at big box, boutique, and thrift stores. My one shortage is shoes, yes the larger sizes necessary (13w) can make it a challenge, I'm going to have to try online shopping for that.

Ever since I was 4, I love wearing pantyhose, heels and a short dress. In my teens, I began wearing bras, wigs and makeup and became Patty. Without my bra, breastforms, and wig, I'm just a guy in pantyhose, heels and short dress.

With my breasts and pretty hair, I become a leggy, sexy girl. I love it.

I bought most of my shoes from Payless. Easily, hundreds of pairs. I have a nice collection of shoes now, but occasionally I would see a pair I would really love to have. Payless was always my trusted source to have the same shoes or something similar. I began looking online for other shoe sources. There seems to be many.
