I wish it was just that easy. The only people who know, mostly don’t know me. In other words, store clerks and other late night shoppers on the few times I have ventured out en femme.
But I have gotten bolder. Most recently I spent the evening at a lesbian bar, The Lipstick Lounge, in Nashville, TN in full Raquel mode. I was sitting alone enjoying a beer, the trivia game show they were hosting, then karaoke.
A girl approached me and offered to buy my next drink, then invited me to join her and her other girlfriends at their table.
I proceeded to have the funnest time you could imagine, even getting up on stage to sing.
But, I seem to have stumbled across another place where I can easily say, “My name is Raquel and I’m a crossdresser.”
