Ah gong out in public, that is a big hurdle honey, I have done it a few times but not as much as I want. I so admire the girls who do it all the time but having a freind with you is great for confidence, I alas do not habve that as it is difficult telling anybody about our passion. x

Mikki, you are so right.  As someone told me once “the struggle is real!”   For me, I also happen to believe that “the struggle is worth it!”  Fortunately CDH allows all of us this beautiful platform to share our struggles, express our passions, and be of this amazing hope and encouragement to each other…. now making the “struggle” a little bit easier and more enjoyable.

Firstly, welcome to Crossdresser Heaven. You'll find that it's a very warm, welcoming, friendly and supportive site.

Most importantly, it's a community. Some of us are completely closeted; others have the confidence to go out freely in public en femme. Some of us dress only one or two times a year, even at home; others dress full time in private. Some of us have been dressing for many, many years; others are just starting out. But I would say that all of us want to express our feminine side, all of us would love to get better at make up, and most of us underdress in boy mode.

So... you're in the right place!

Hello Natalie welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are and your desire to express your feminine side and qualities. Having found us you have made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or level of public expression and or personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression from differing levels of crossdressing to those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of self acceptance and expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or space were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are that you are not alone and this is a place where you can feel safe to express and share part of yourself as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or a complete human being expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. When you say 'Go out and wear a mask' I'm hoping that you mean something at the discreet end of the spectrum, such as a COVID mask.

Other masks, e.g. gorilla, would DEFINITELY be fun but might draw unwanted attention.
