You'll find that this is a very welcoming and supportive place. I've just read your profile and you'll find that there are LOTS of us with similar stories to you. I've been a member here for five months now. I've learned a tremendous amount, come a long way in understanding myself, made some very good friendships and basically loved every minute of my time here.

With so much going on here from reading the forums and posts from so many ladies here telling there stories about there journeys down the femme road they are on.. So when you get comfortable with us please join in with a story or two about the life and times of Jacqueline as she travels down her own girly path in life.. Now as for making friends here as there are so many ladies from all over the world to build long lasting friendships with and best of all we are just a simple click away from you .. @caroline2k Hi Caroline, lovely to meet you. It's quite possible that we've actually met before. A few years ago I made monthly trips to the scene on Scotswood Road. They were good times.
@jacquelinelarkspur Sadly I've never been involved in any scene or been involved in any groups, being in the closet - apart from to my current partner (and a couple of ex-es). So unfortunately I doubt we've met - unless in passing whilst furtively hanging around in Fenwicks hosiery department or Farnons lingerie section 😀
@caroline2k There are some lovely things in Fenwick, but they're a bit too pricey for me. I'm more of a Primani girl!

@jacquelinelarkspur TBH Jacqueline, I can't remember the last time I bought anything in Fenwicks - probably tights, way back in the early 90s!
I'm more likely to be found browsing the local charity shops, which is where the majority of my wardrobe comes from 🙂
@caroline2k I did once buy a pair of stockings in Fenwick, but yes, thank goodness for charity shops. They're where most of my clothes come from too. My underwear is always new, though! Back in my early days, all my tights came from C&A or Littlewoods. American Tan, in packs of five pairs.

Eee, C&A and Littlewoods though... You're going to make me get misty-eyed about the demise of Newcastle as a shopping destination!
@caroline2k American Tan was the shade in those days! I shudder to think how much money I must have spent on tights alone over the years. Worth every penny.
@jacquelinelarkspur Haha, yes - I can safely say that I could probably retire on what I've spent on tights over the years... I am a bit of an addict! lol
But American Tan? 😉 I didn't really start becoming interested in tans and nudes etc until the advent of glossy tights in the late 80s, although I did like grey tights, and paler shades such as 'Ecru', 'Oyster' etc.

Your story on your profile is quite a familiar one.
In fact it’s almost identical to mine, even down to the walks in your early days. The only different difference is that my wife knows nothing. Well, at least I don’t think she does 🙂

I'm a mature crossdresser I've been dressing most of my life since i was about 8 or 9 years old when i tried my older sister's lingerie on I'm still in the closet to my family,
