Hi, Alannah, welcome to CDH from another Scottish girl, I'm on the East Coast.
The girls are right, this is an amazing community, I joined about 8 months ago and it's no exaggeration to say that it's changed my life!
After a lifetime of hiding my secret, to be able to share with like-minded sisters is actually difficult to describe. But, just have a look at the forums and profiles and I won't need to 😊.
The icing on the cake is how genuinely friendly and helpful everyone is, I've never been out en femme but, thanks to the support of friends I've made here, I'll be doing exactly that for a couple of days in just a few short weeks!
This community is also the perfect antidote to the guilt and shame that have plagued so many of us unnecessarily.
So, enjoy exploring and just shout if you need anything.

Allie, honestly huni I was a closet crossdresser for years but booked into kinky closet on friday 4 a 4 hour makeover and just burst out crying at how pretty I looked.....was amazing...went to polo lounge that night and was amazing how friendly the people of glasgow are to us girls.. was girlie shopping Saturday dressed then back to hotel to get dressed apply make up and go out to fancy dress party....I had the most amazing time in glasgow and everyone was really friendly...there is tv crossdressers & admirers nights every month in glasgow...av met a few of the girls and we bonded quickly....I'm soooooo excited xxx
Sounds great, Alannah, I'm booked for a makeup and go before attending Leeds First Friday in October and will be booking a full makeover for later. I know a few of the girls have been to Tracey at Femmeside and have posted pics, I can't wait!

Hi allie am going to go for a makeover every 2 months if I can manage it....its quite simply the best experience ever...before I went to my fancy dress party on Saturday I came down the hotel lift dressed up like a princess all in pink littered in cute little bows and a woman said to me wooooooo,look at you girl all dressed up looking pretty.....I shyly said thank you😊 ☺️ and walked to my party a happy happy girl xxx

This happens sometimes, but not to worry, nothing wrong. Glad you had a great time and you're right, Glasgow people are very friendly, I have family there and my daughter went to Glasgow University so I know it well. We spent many a happy hour or six in a few of the curry houses and hostelries😊.

Thanks to everyone for there lovely comments and support...it means loads...it will take me a little while to get used to this site and how it works but it's nice to talk to my fellow girls...was at a fancy dress party there was about 200 people there ( only 7 of us T girls) but it was amazing and non judgemental...I was dressed up as a princess all in pink littered in cute little bows......best weekend EVER xxx

@fishingr8 from 2000-2015( before I met my partner of 9 years ,weve just split,I never told her I was a xdresser cause I was scared) ..anyhow the amount of times I used to cry myself to sleep dressed up wishing I was a girl was terrible...then ad frow all my clothes out as I felt as if I was doing something wrong.....then ad start again...feel guilty...then stop...but now am older I realise its in me and its never going AWAY......and when i had a taste of alannah last weekend I said at the dressing service I am NEVER throwing this away ever again cause its AMAZING & and it makes me sooooooooooo happy.......av never looked happier in my life xxx
@alannahd Same story here girl I always thought there was something wrong with me but there's nothing wrong with us it's in us and it makes us happy. Partner wife been pushing me for awhile if it makes you happy do it. My nails are painted today I'm at a oil plant getting loaded and a guy just told me that's bad ass lol.so girl just do it.Dawn
@dawn04 I just wish I had been honest with my ex partner from the start, instead of finding out 9 years later....I wss scared and ashamed 😔...I have lost a few friends cause they can't understand how av dressed as a woman for 30 years and how I loove wearing dresses, skirts,tights, knickers & bras......I was embarrassed but now everyone knows I am a Femme crossdresser av nothing to hide away from now xxx
