I just came out to my wife today as a crossdresser. I have been off and on dressing for about 35ish years, and I'm super happy to be out finally! I have many pictures of myself as Shelly, and I hope she can help me make many more.
@shelly327 Hey Michelle, welcome to CDH. Congratulations on joining the best CD resource there is. Oh, and on coming out to your wife. That's a big brave step honey. We all send our best wishes that your wife takes the big reveal positively. Loads of the girls here are out to their wives, and out in public. Others have a DADT relationship. And lots, myself included, are firmly in the closet. You'll find nothing but friendship, support and acceptance here. Do let us know how things go for you. I've got my fingers crossed. Oh, and thank you for introducing yourself with so many photos. Some gorgeous looks there girl.

@chrisfp99 thank you so much! Its going so so with my wife. She did say she wants to help me get dressed and do my makeup to see if she understands it better. I'm really hoping she accepts this new change and we can start a life that includes me as Shelly.

@christineth Thank you for the welcome, Christine. It was a huge shock to her, and although I've been doing this for years, she never had any idea. Her reaction was somewhat confused, but I feel like she'll come around and be accepting.

From the sound of it, you have some fabulous girly times together to look forward to. Life becomes suddenly so much less stressful and more colourful when we are able to share this part of our lives with someone special. I came out to my partner in 2021 after 21 years together, and it is one of the smartest things I ever did.
@caroline2k Thank you very much, Caroline. I am super excited and overly relieved to finally be out and hopefully still have my wife by my side. Time will tell if she is as accepting as I hope she'll be, but in the meantime, she seems supportive and positive.
