I'm sorry that I cannot really help you too much, I'm still learning make up myself. Though one thing I did, and helped a lot, was to have a makeover done. I went to a local Mac Cosmetics  and the young woman was so helpful and I learned a lot from her. They also do make up courses, and other places might be able to help you in a similar way as well.

Hi Nicole, Teralynn here. Welcome to our merry band of crossdressing people. If you came here looking for advice and tips on becoming a more convincing woman then you made a very good choice. We have many crossdressing people here who are very knowledgeable about fashion and makeup. Unfortunately I am not one of them unless you want to look like an elderly librarian (lol). Look through the forums, articles and groups for help. Also if you see an attractive profile picture send that member a message asking for some assistance with makeup and dressing and you may be surprised how eager the member will be to interact with you. Stay active on the site and make a few friends. Friends will almost always provide assistance with a crossdressing matter if you ask them!
