Hi, my name is Elsie. I have crossdressed throughout my life growing up and now find myself in my day to day life presenting as male but alone I keep finding myself drawn towards a fem presentation.
It sounds silly but I feel more like me when I am alone and presenting fem. I want to be comfortable as who I am, and I'm looking for friends and connections where I'm at to help me grow and meet other inspiring women.

Your need to feel comfortable in your own skin when you're alone and presenting femme doesn't sound silly at all. In fact, it sounds pretty normal and natural. I'm sure that you'll make many friends on the site who can help you with that. In my case, just being able to talk to other people who understand was a key factor. You're about to discover that this is a very warm and supportive community.

How you feel when presenting as femme doesn’t sound silly at all. I think you’ll find that it’s quite common amongst the people here.
Once you’ve settled in you’ll quickly realise that you’re not alone at all.
Being part of this wonderful group has made a very big difference to how I feel, and I’m pretty sure it will help you a lot as well

@cookiecrumble Welcome Elsie! It doesn't sound silly at all.....many of us here experience the same thing. When I am presenting Fem, I feel an authenticity that I don't experience at other times. I have only been here a relatively short time but I have learned much about myself from drawing on the experiences of others. I hope you are able to do the same.

The feelings you describe are quite normal and very common amongst crossdressers. Precisely why we do what we do is still largely not fully understood, but the sensations of completeness, freedom and release we have when dressed are undeniable.
You've found a good place here, with lots of supportive girls who will be happy to offer help and advice to you on your journey, wherever it leads you.
