Hi Seana nice to meet you and so happy you found and joined us girls here and congrats on having a supportive wife its a wonderful thing .. As  a new sister and family member you are welcomed with open arms into our home as well as yours now also.. Ok girl there is a wealth of knowledge here to access and learn from so look around and ask many questions of these wonderful ladies here telling there stories about the femme journeys they have ..So when you get comfortable with us please join in with a story or two about the life and times of Seana as she travels down her own girly path in life.. Hello Seana welcome to CDH I am glad you found us here and so happy to hear that you have a loving understanding wife and supportive wife that is so amazing you are a lucky girl. Joining CDH you have made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or levels of closeted dressing or underdressing or public expression and or personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression from differing levels of crossdressing to those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of self acceptance and expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or space were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are that you are not alone and this is a place where you can feel safe to express and share part of yourself as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, a man who dresses as a woman, if it makes you a better complete human being expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept and embrace this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. For some it means remaining private for some telling a select few ultimately you have to do whats best for your own situation and you ultimately know best and having your love and partner in life meet you with open arms is so huge. I appreciate you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. Being here helps not only yourself but helps others gain acceptance and confidence in themselves by hearing about you and your experiences. I am happy you have made the step to be here. Both you and your wife are so very welcome.

Hi Seana, welcome and a very familiar story.  I too came out to my wife when I was 62 and was shocked that she is ok with it.  Great not having to hide at home.

So proud of you.  Telling your wife had to be so scary.  I dream of that day often and the different ways it would go.  I’ve never found the path to a happy ending in my mind but I dream of the “several ways to acceptance” so often.

That is so good to hear!  I was so worried about throwing away an amazing relationship over all this.  It turned out to be the exact opposite and now I regret wasting so many years not coming clean with what I really felt and wanted to do.  I’m so happy to hear “success” stories.

Hi Seana, and welcome from another Arizona girl.  I live in Gilbert and have made several friends in the Phoenix area through CDH.  We make fairly regular trips to Las Vegas where we have makeovers, then go 'out and about' and just have fun.  Please let me now if you would like to join us on one of our "excursions".  We call our little group "Confident U" and its purpose is to team with girls who have not been out before and support them in gaining the confidence to do so, and enjoy themselves in the process.  We are a social organization and our junkets are pretty much where everyone covers there own expenses.  However I have been known to spring for a few rounds at Happy Hour! (LOL).  We just got back from Fem Friday with the River City Gems in Sacramento and it was a BLAST!  Let's stay in touch.  Hugs, Paulette

I’d love to learn more about this…but I don’t know if I’m ready for something like that.  I want to be able to do exactly what you’re talking about, but I’ve never stepped a foot into public.  I have so much to work on!  Please keep in touch, I’d really like to talk to you more about this.
