Hey everyone. My name is Matt and I have been cross-dressing for about six months. It’s really hard ya know? Most people I know either don’t understand or have stopped talking to me. All I know is that I feel really good when I wear lady’s clothes. I wear dresses to work everyday. I am a public school teacher. My administration is very supportive. The other teachers are mostly not but who cares right? I’m excited to be a member of this group of fine people.

@hazitazi Hey Matt, welcome to CDH.  here you will find the community of ladies, very welcoming, informative, funny, friendly and so supportive.  I am sorry to hear that people have stopped talking to you because of your dressing…that is so ignorant of them, but I guess it lets you find out who your real friends are and who is not scared by (to them) the unknown and non-conformist ways of life.  It is fantastic that your employers have been supportive.

Your surname sounds Greek (or even Cypriot), I too am of Greek extract, but now living in Belgium.  Hope to be able to chat sometimes.  In the meantime, I hope you have a great time exploring this site and meeting the ladies.

Hugs

Christine

thank you for the kind words and the warm welcome. My dad was born in Thessaloniki and came to the states in approx 1950. I am living in NYC presently. What part of Greece are you from?

@hazitazi I have relatives all over Greece including Salonica.  I just got back from vacation there.  I love the country, the people and especially the weather - all of which I miss, having leaved away for so long.  Do you visit Greece at all?

Hi Matt

Welcome to CDH 🙂

I'm a teacher too (though only for another five and a half weeks, when I take early retirement to pursue writing and painting full tine), but I would never have had the nerve to go to work en femme. It's wonderful that you have both the confidence and the support to do that, even if it isn't meeting with universal approval from colleagues. It's a brave thing to be true to yourself like this.

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of reaction do you get from pupils and their parents?

Anyway, you've just joined a very warm and supportive community. The girls here are amazing, and it's a wonderful place to make friends, seek advice, chat or just sit back and absorb everything that the site has to offer.

There's lots to explore. Have fun doing that, and if you need help with anything just shout.

Ellie x

You'll notice that most of our members adopt a female name on the site - though it isn't compulsory!

If you DO want to change your site name then it couldn't be easier:

1). Go to your profile page (I've included a direct link below to help you):

Profile – Matthew Hatzichristos – Crossdresser Heaven

2). You'll see various options: View, Edit, Change Profile Photo, Change Cover Image. Select 'Edit'.

3). In this view you can change anything you like about your profile EXCEPT for the username, which has to stay constant.

4). IMPORTANT: When you've finished, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on 'Update'. Unless you do this, all of your changes will be lost.

Hey Ellie I’m sorry I didn’t realize I didn’t respond to you. Kids have very positive reactions to my dressing en femme everyday. I have been teaching for 28 years so I command a lot of respect. Congrats on your early retirement!! I have not yet gotten any feedback from parents. One teacher made an offensive comment to me but I squashed it immediately. Something about my chest filling in nicely.

I managed to get to 30 years of teaching (mainly Chemistry ... *let's blow some stuff up!* ... but also Biology, Physics and Geology). That figure terrifies me. Where did the time go? Before that (way back in the Pre-Cambrian), I was a consultant geologist. It seems like a iifetime ago.

Whatever, I was ALWAYS a girl. Even if I didn't admit it to myself for WAY too long 🙁

Writing and painting/illustration are my passions though. Fortunately I'm okayish enough at both to make a living out of them.

From now on I'll also have time to pursue my love of languages ... and get back in touch with fingerstyle guitar, garden design, cooking and a million and one other things. I am definitely NOT going to be bored.

So much to do ... and, finally, the time to do it.

ALL of it. Properly 🙂

I'm not really retiring ... just starting a new chapter in the Bumper Fun Book of Ellie. Maybe I'm just evolving?

Hi Matthew (or is it Mathilda?), and welcome to CDH.

Having the understanding of others, particularly those we love and who love us, can be the hardest part of being a crossdresser. It's even harder when relationships go sour as a result. Rest assured that you are not alone in that. Here on this wonderful site you are in the company of many other like minded ladies from all walks of life and widely different experiences, so you are in the best place on the net to make contact with people who understand.

You are indeed fortunate that your school administration supports your dressing at work. That in itself is just a dream for many of us. Well done to you for helping to break down barriers and raise the flag for inclusivity.

There's lots to see and do here on the site, so join in whenever you feel like it. Any questions, feel free to shout up. Have fun!

As you can see Mattie, our welcoming committee likes to roll out the red carpet!  I can't really add anything to what's already been said.

But I do want to express my admiration and gratitude for your open crossdressing as a public-school teacher.  A very visible position to be sure.  I'm glad to hear you've been largely accepted.  I think that speaks volumes about how our society is evolving.

Thank you for being part of the solution!  And thank you for being you!

  • Liz I’m speechless. Thank you so much for the kind words. I have  been trying to be myself for much of my life. It’s not easy. Lately I have made some major advancements in being my true self. I have always dressed a bit flamboyantly for a guy. Never wore any flannel or team jerseys. Now I wear lady’s clothes approximately five days a week.

I get it.  Me too.  Social conditioning taught me to reject what was going on in my head.  Meanwhile gender dysphoria was eating away at my mental health....until one day when my life fell apart.  Fortunately I chose to be happy and did the work to make it happen.  The last bunch of years have been the best of my life.  Seems like we're in similar places.

BTW - from a former NY gal, nice connecting.

@hazitazi Welcome to CDH, Hatzichristos!

It's sad that you are losing some friends over your dressing, but at least your employer is cool with it.

Just curious. How did you prepare the school for your dressing?

Welcome too the site Matt. I hope that you find a kinship here and that you have found a common bond with one of our girls already. Take time and have a look at what this site has to offer and if you have any questions or queries then don't be afraid to ask. You have an interesting intro and perhaps you want to fill in a few more details on your profile and even consider a femme name if you are comfortable doing that.

I am sure you will enjoy your time here.
