I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here.
My name is Kitty James and I've been dressing for a long, long time....40+ years in one form or another.
I've been married for 34 years and in the closet the whole time. Until just recently.
I made the decision to come out to my wife at the end of July, 2021. I couldn't keep it inside and longer and was prepared for whatever her reactions would be. To say I was blown away by her reaction would be an understatement. She loved seeing me dressed. She loved seeing how happy dressing made me. She loved getting to know this new side of me. She jumped in with both feet!!! We went shopping together; she's bought me clothes, shoes, make-up. She's given me tips on how to do my makeup, how to dress, how to walk, how to sit, how to be as femme as I possibly can. She even gave me my name. We have grown so much closer in the past few months than we've ever been before.
I'm so happy I made the decision. I know it's not right for everyone, but it certainly turned out to be right for me / us.
