Hi and welcome Sherri! your sister is right. glade you took her advice. here at C.D.H we all are a friendly girls and under stand what you are going though for we all have been there. like Stephanie says make new friends and join other groups here. there is allot of info here and girls to talk to. read my profile it will tell  my side of my journey, 55 now and have more female cloths and make up and perfume and nylons and bra and panties then wife does. she knows of my dressing up, lets me dress up but only when 2 adult children are not home and wife will not sit in same room as her and talk like 2 woman or help with make up. i am learning more each day on how to apply eye shadow better.   nice to meet you and welcome to C.D.H. need some one to chat or text once in awhile don't be afraid to send me one.  and tell your sister she was right

Thanks for the warm welcome, Sisters, so much appreciated! A little more about me. I'm 62 and have been crossdressing since I was 4 years old, when I slipped on my sister's crinoline petticoat (I still love wearing them and vintage slips). Before we married, I told my wife about my CDing and she was tolerant of it. She died last year from cancer and I've been trying to deal with her loss ever since. I have 3 kids who are grown up adults, 1 grandson with another on the way. Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, I was a member of a local CD support group and participated in outings and banquets, but since then, I've kept my CDing a private matter. I love wearing crinolines and vintage slips, along with the usual feminine underthings and heels. My hair is long and I wear it down when I'm en-femme. I'm wearing a lovely Vanity Fair accordion pleated slip as I write this and it looks and feels heavenly! I look forward to making friends and sharing experiences here! Sara Marie, thanks for the condolences concerning the loss of my wife! It's been tough since she died, but I'm trying to move forward. Getting back into crossdressing has given me comfort and I've reveling in it! I now have something to look forward to again when coming home from work and on weekends! 🙂 Yes, the world has changed a lot in the last 20 years, especially for those of us who are CDers and Transgendered as there's more tolerance for us. I'll have to buy some new dresses as the ones I have are from the late 80s! New makeup too!

gee wow sorry for your loss also. i lost my mom and dad 68 days apart from each other in 2013 and that was the hardest thing for me to handle. but my parents left me 7 acres of land with a trailer and a add on to it, i have my trailer on the upper land and now i have all of it. i am taking the home down piece by piece for it is in bad shape to repair, having a new home built and soon to move out there cant wait to move out of the city. you have the right place to  come to and that is C.D.H. us girls are very friendly and under standing not like flickr or the other sites out there. welcome to C.D.H.
