Hi,
I call myself a newbie but I've been partial dressing since I was 10... I'm 30 now. Just recently started getting into fully dressing this past month and it feels great. I've been struggling with my desire to CD for a while now and have been in a weird cycle of buying clothes and throwing them out after wearing a few times so I'm hoping to stop that and accept CDing as a part of me.
So yeah, wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm kind of shy so I tend to be more of a lurker but it would be cool to make some friends I can talk to about CD stuff with.... right now it's just me, myself, and I.

Awww, dont throw them out! I have lots of stuff up in the attic that doesnt fit! Its hard for us to get the right size. So much to learn. I have a makeup session this Friday with my T girlfriend. I havent found even one sister in this part of the state.
Yeah my goal is to start keeping all my female clothing going forward 🙂
When I have thrown stuff out it didn't have anything to do with the sizing but more to do with me being worried that someone might find my things.

We know, Jennie. I have lots of stuff that wont fit me, but I just save it up in the attic for girlfriends. I know its a luxury to live alone in a big house. You look so skinny; I should mail U some stuff.
Ty for the warm welcome ladies.
Maria - I could definitely see how it would be convenient to have all that space to yourself. I am sort of on the thin side but I'm a tall girl so it's still a challenge to find things that fit correctly. I wouldn't want you to send stuff that might not fit my long body and have it be a waste! I appreciate your kindness though; you seem super generous.
A warm Welcome Jennifer, we all have been there or currently still struggling. We are all together in this journey. Hope you find all that you need here.

Thanks Terri <3

Hey Jennifer welcome to the gang. The only upside of purging your clothes is shopping for new ones. Just recently I have been back to shopping replacing my last purge but it does get costly. Take Maria up on her offer and if they don't fit pass it on. Hugs - Terrisa

Buying new clothes and wearing them is a lot of fun. Don't throw your clothes out. Put them somewhere and store them. Don't wear them again if you have upgraded your wardrobe. If you haven't worn them in a long time, donate them.
I know many CD's who have done what you are doing and for the same reason. They all regret it and always go back to dressing again. Sure, upgrade and replace but never purge.
Damn right! When I get clothes in the mail online, its always a delight when they fit!
