Surprised that I have been member here for about 5 days and doesn't seem to be a lot of responses from other girls.  Not complaining, but I posted questions on how to find friends and nobody comments.

I am kind of surprised myself at the lack of response, Missy. Let me add my welcome to you with a friend request. You probably have arrived at a bit of a dry spell. I am not on as often as I would like, but I almost always will respond when messaged.

I don't usually check this forum because it's always seemed people were covering it regularly, but I would recommend checking the live public chat (I think you're eligible for that). My experience is that I feel I meet girls in a more engaging way and I usually send a friend request to those I chat with repeatedly or I especially enjoy the banter with them when I meet them at the chat room. I hope to see and hear from you and that you enjoy your time here.

Gosh, I hope I don't sound too "cryie whiney" giggle.   I have accepted a handful of friend requests, but where to go to see them? hmmm

Well Missy, you could start by fleshing out your profile so we can get to know you. Start a private conversation, get to know us, etc. I don't go to the chat room only because I am a terribly slow typist, basically "hunt and peck" method for the last 50 or so years. In the transition from parochial to public school that class got skipped and I never bothered with taking it up as an elective. Didn't really need it since I had no need of office skills as I made my career as a photographer and sometime calligrapher. I have been keeping a low profile for the last 6 months as my family situation had been a bit strained, but I am going to make an effort to be more active now. Anyway, I am looking forward to hearing from you.
