Hi Chri, and welcome to CDH. It's very nice to meet you.
I think you're asking for opinions? If you read my replies through the forums, one theme you'll pick up on, probably, is that I dislike labels. To my mind, labels - transgender, crossdresser, gay, bisexual, black, Hispanic, muslim, atheist, male, female, whatever - are intended to divide people into "us vs them" groups, rather than bringing people together. All those years ago when we were hunter-gatherer in nomadic tribes, it was probably a useful exercise. Nowadays? Not so much.
"Passable" is really just another label. Sometimes it's meant with a positive connotation, of course. But other times it's a negative - though usually that gets the pejorative label "trap" instead. My advice, for whatever it's worth, is to put your focus on being you. That's where you'll find happiness.
And with that, I'll get off my proverbial soapbox... I'll close with this, though. When I look at your profile pic, I don't see a man.
"Passable" is a term designed to intimidate and isolate us from each other. As Rose says, it's a label and I've written elsewhere about my distaste for labels.
To 'pass' one must first have a point of definition, a standard to reach or fail to reach. Even "Do I look like a woman?" isn't good enough because if you go out your front door and look at all the women you see just going about their daily lives you might even find some of them don't 'pass'.
Dress well and make an effort to blend and you'll be fine. There are many of us who are unlikely to be taken as having been born 'female' yet we can be out and about with no problems. Passing is more a state of mind than any visual appearance.
