I confess I'm not the most social network savvy person, so i guess this re-intoduction is because i requested to join the 'Over-50 Group'? I'm not sure if i did something wrong though. Please forgive me if i did.

Hi Michelle, Welcome. I too am in the 'Over 50 group', actually there should be a over 60 group, separate for older ladies like me. There is a lot of support and like minded people here. Enjoy your journey.

You did join the Over 50 group, but as I found out when I first joined this site, you can't actually access any group unless you are a paid member (unless something has changed since.) As a Lady member you are probably sent to the membership upgrade form every time you try and access any group. They ought to put a reason why you can't access groups as it puzzled me for a while. (Note : I have become a paid member since.)
I wonder if the powers that be would consider giving read only access to the public groups for Lady members? They might get a few more upgrades that way.

Looking for a way to join with a better membership, but can run a card in just my name. Too risky
