Welcome Lauren, youve found the right place!  There is a wealth of information here and lots of people who will help and encourage you along your journey.  I'm a fairly new CDer and joined this group about 2 weeks ago. I've learned so much, it's absolutely beautiful. Read everything, get involved in the forums, make friends and explore. Most importantly, ENJOY.

Just take it one day at a time. Start with underwear - bra and panties. Wear them around the house, then under clothes when you go out. Then progress to blouses and skirts, then dresses. Slowly add jewelry and makeup - at home, then outside. Either grow your hair long and female style or cut it short and wear a wig. Do what you feel comfortable with. Good luck!

Welcome to CDH.  Enjoy looking around the site and reading the many posts.  Searching for women’s clothing can be challenging as sizing is not that easy.  There are many CD friendly stores and boutiques that can help you get started finding your sizes.  If you’re a larger gurl and there is a Torrid or Lane Bryant near you, either can help you find a few starter items.

take it slow. do you have a wife? alot of things will be hit and miss . your size will be hard . once you get your size down things will fall in place . shop at goodwill and stores like that. make will take alot of time get your make at stores like the dollar tree . as you get better at it you can move up to the better make. and for wigs you can get a wig for about $30.00 at the wig company or paula young .they are very helpful . i am 70 and my wife is all for it. and we go shopping all the time together. one more thing at the stores with checking they do do not care who you are .hope i help you donna
