Hi everyone, straight male, but love dressing up and becoming Jennifer. What concealer do people use for stubble?'

Hi, Jennifer. Depending on your skin tone, using and blending orange mascara usually works if you have lighter skin. This has to do with orange on the light prism, and balance with sunlight and blacks. Hope this helped.

Hi Jennifer,

Pink or red will counteract the bluish tint of beard shadow.  Dermablend Cover Creme or Mehron Performance Makeup's "Clown Pink" work well.  A lot of performers and drag queens use them.  You can also dab red lipstick on the area.  Believe it or not, it really works.

In answer to your question, I have dropped the concealer completely. Instead I have come up with a routine that is getting me some great feedback. I start with a Max Factor Pan Stik. Ok yes, this product has been going for years but I LOVE IT! Starting with this then blending in before applying foundation. I was brave enough in January to have a foundation test in Boots. They are very helpful indeed! Finish with loose powder! Hope anyone finds this useful, Samantha x x

Hi Jennifer, early on, a crossdresser store we have here in Denver turned me on to theatrical grade beard cover. It has an orange tint to it like I saw in one of the posts above. It works great. Of course, we need to start with a fresh shave. After the shave, I apply a moisturizer
then apply a primer, then the beard cover, then foundation, topped off with finishing powder. I use a lighter colored foundation on top of the orange tinted beard cover. All together it works very well. It's much easier of course now to buy things online, so you should be able to find a beard cover that works for you. I don't use much of the beard cover, so I've had it a long time and don't remember the name. Next time I'm in my stuff, I'll look and see what it is, and post the name on here.

Hope this helps.

To start with, I'll say that I'm mostly grey. I have foundation in stick form from Mac cosmetics, which works very well, I've discovered. I shave as close as I can, in the shower if I can, as the hair swells up, and I can get a closer shave, then the only part the seems to need it is on my upper lip, and it works perfect for many hours.
