Hello all,
This is a twofer.
First a big thank you to CDH. I half-reluctantly signed up for CDH because I am generally a pretty private person in real life but I wanted to be part of a larger community in order to make friends and the 24 hours I have been on here have been so incredibly welcoming and amazing.
Several members have reached out to me offering guidance on navigation, lovely messages, and positive vibes! When I signed up I unintentionally made a boo-boo but the ambassadors were so understanding and I wasn't sent to the principal's office on the first day.
About me; I generally dress in private and have done so for a very long time. I've been out to several restaurants and a piano bar presenting as my feminine self but being well into middle-age I find it more and more compelling to be immersed with like-minded friends at a conference for several days.
I guess this is why I'm here because I really have apprehension about just showing up randomly to a conference and not know anybody or anything. Actually that's probably a lie but isn't it more fun to have girlfriends you know if you're going to a big party? It may be next year or several years in the making, and of course my SO (a.k.a. the Boss) has to approve, but this is an aspirational goal of mine.
What else for an intro if you haven't hit the snooze button yet? I generally enjoy getting dressed to the nines--I call it a mix of high-end with fast-fashion but I enjoy trying to emulate the look of something in a fashion magazine. I've gone through many cycles and purges and I think I have a better grasp on my style now and it's a fascinating journey, sort of going through adolescence much later in life at a much faster velocity.
I still have so much to learn as time and opportunities are limited but I'm happy I joined CDH.
Apologies in advance if I do not reply or respond to you--it's not personal, I have a life and responsibilities outside of CDH and my dressing, but please know I mean well and send you pleasant thoughts.

Welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared your photos and a part of who you are in your background and found us and made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. Being here helps not only yourself but helps others gain acceptance and confidence I am happy you have made the step to be here and look forward to hearing more about you. Welcome!
