Hello Everyone.

I am Sona ,a crossdresser & a biker.i am happy to be a part of crossdressers community. I dont remember for how long i have been dressing but its been a long time. Like all of you Crossdressing brings out my feminine side. I believe my feminine side is my strength. When it comes to outfits i am fond of ethnic Indian outfits like saree & kurti pajami. In western outfits its skirts & mini dress paired with stockings. I have a special attraction for  boots .

Its great to be part of CDH and i thank everyone for the support

Hi Sona

Welcome to CDH, a large and welcoming family.
It's a pleasure to meet you here.
You are in a place where it is really difficult to feel alone and abandoned, you will be able to find all the "sisterhood" you need.
Here you can exchange good opinions and information and find support to move forward in your female adventure.
Here you can have fun participating in forums, polls and questionnaires.
Here no one is judged, but always welcomed with a warm hug.

I'm Greta, I'm a 57 year old CD/TG person who is living with extreme happiness the choice to undergo hormone replacement therapy; my life has been complicated for too long by having to hide my gender identity... not that it's easier now, but at least I've happily taken possession of my way of being.
When I'm alone at home or at work or I know I don't have LGBTQ+phobic guests, I'm Greta and I live my femininity freely, but if I'm elsewhere in places where I know I'm surrounded by dull and ignorant people I'm dressed in unisex clothes but of course I'm wearing my women's underwear.

XOXO from Italy
Greta

Hi Sona

Welcome to CDH 🙂

I DO remember when I began crossdressing. Believe me it is a loooooooong time ago.

I'm trans, so I guess from that point of view my female side IS me; nevertheless I like her more than the 'boy mode' version of me that most of the rest of the world sees, so it's interesting that you see your feminine side as your strength. I think of it more in terms of 'superpower'.

Anyway, you'll find that this is a very welcoming and supportive community. I hope that you enjoy exploring and make a few friendships along the way.

Hugs

Ellie x

before starting hrt I discussed it with doctors and endocrinologists specialized in gender dysphoria. Here in Italy it is not cheap and safety to rely on dr.Google, here liter hrt is supported by the national health service, if the person requesting it has more than one dysphoria certification (neuropsychologist, endocrinologist, biologist, psychotherapist).

Thats good to know.
Someone told me that you wont be accepted in the society as a crossdresser. People would laugh on you. I told her i am not asking for acceptance & even if people laugh on me (for wanting to be feminine )its not a big deal as the only thing that matters is how i handle my life

Hi Sona!

Welcome to CDH!

Great introduction and thread!

Great diversity and thread.

Crossdressing definitely brings out my feminine side, which I enjoy just a little too much!

It is a strength for sure, but from another post in the thread, yes, we might not be accepted in society, but we can accept ourselves.

It took me awhile, but now, well, I am a crossdresser plain and simple.

And you know what, I love it!

Anyway, I think you will find the community helpful, encouraging and supportive.

Again, welcome to CDH!

Catherine

Hello Sona welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are. Having found us you have made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or levels of closeted dressing or underdressing or public expression and or personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression from differing levels of crossdressing to those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of self acceptance and expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or space were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are that you are not alone and this is a place where you can feel safe to express and share part of yourself as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, a man who dresses as a woman, if it makes you a better complete human being expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. For some it means remaining private for some telling a select few ultimately you have to do whats best for your own situation and you ultimately know best. I appreciate you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. Being here helps not only yourself but helps others gain acceptance and confidence in themselves. I am happy you have made the step to be here. Welcome!

Hugs April
