It first started when i was abouth 12 and i found my sisters underwear drawer.

I would go through it when no one was home en put them on, look at myself in the mirror liking what I see and then take it off and leave it at that. At first i thought is was sexual maybe just a fetish because i would get aroused by looking at myself.

Throughout the years it got to the point where I would go out and buy my own underwear en pantyhose and walk around the house and yard when i was alone doing my daily things. I just liked the feeling of it and the way i look, i would get in my car and drive around while wearing it.

Then instead of buying i would get a thrill by stealing a panty or bra from friends of my family of a friend of mine sister, the thought of this is someone elses, another girl has wore this.

So now that you've heard a short story i now present my problem. Im straight and have never been attracted to a man. I no longer wear womens underwear and clothes for sexual arousal i wear it because i like to. What does that make me? Is there something wromg with me. Im ashamed of myself after each time i wore those stuff.

Victoria, there's nothing to be ashamed of. You being who you are and if dressing makes you happy be happy. Other than a little lingerie in the bedroom my dressing now is for me and me to feel good . I'm straight and love my wife of many years but when dressing comes up I do feel a sense of how I can experience a whole new meaning to who I am. Don't feel that it's wrong but embrace it as something that makes you feel wonderful.  It's not wrong to be happy. Nice meeting you and enjoy your stay here with us.

It makes you just like me!

There are thousands of us - it's not weird, just a desire to dress differently.

David Bowie did it in the 60s and the world is still catching up... ok, he was Bi, but it's not a sexuality thing, even though it is arousing to start with.

Enjoy your journey - you'll fit in here just fine!

Love Laura

Victoria,
First, welcome to CDH. Second, there's nothing wrong with you and you have no reason to be ashamed; distressed by what others may say or do, yes - but not ashamed. About half of the ladies here are just like you: hetero males, not at all attracted to men, but drawn like a magnet to women's clothing. My wife accepts it (more or less), and refers to it as "getting in touch with my feminine side". I was myself uncomfortable about dressing until I accepted it as just part of who I am, and made peace with it. It may take awhile, but you can do the same.

The ballet flats are nice, aren't they? I even wear mine with my guy clothes, sometimes.

Hello Victoria,                Firstly, you have come to the right place to talk about your feelings. As the others have said, there is nothing wrong with you, enjoy what you are doing. I too started wearing my mums clothes, then borrowing my friends underwear & enjoying the thought that she wore what I had on now. But I soon relised that it was not a good thing to do, so I started to buy my own & always do now. Wearing female clothes is something I have always like doing & will continue to do as long as I can. So kept wearing your clothes when you can & enjoy each moment, we all do.

love,  Helenmarie

Hi Victoria,

What does that make you...normal or course. I started loving women's panties and such at a very young age. I would put on my Mom's panties and bras and loved how the material would feel on my skin. She found a pair of her panties in my room and we discussed it. She bought me a couple pair of nylon panties and a training bra so that's how it all started. I am a straight male and wear women's clothes because I love how they fit and how they make me feel. It would be hard pressed to find something that is not female on me on any given day. I wear panties everyday and more times than not a bra too. There are too many people that have the misguided impression that we wear female clothes because of just sexual reasons. Men's clothes are boring, no form, no style and all the same design.

I find a sense of calmness and bliss when I pull on a skirt or zip up my dress.

Take care and have fun!

Carla

I've been wearing pantyhose and heels since I was 4. I bought my own pantyhose at 13, my own shoes at 17 and at 18 I was dressing fully fem and going out. At first it was an overwhelming erotic thrill and rush. But I also found I loved the clothes and loved wearing them all the time. I loved how I looked and how they made me feel.

When I was young I wore my Mother’s underwear, bras, dresses and makeup. I stopped once out of the house. Years later I have several days during the week to myself and am wanting to Cross Dress again, but have not got the courage to make any purchases. I would like to start with bras and panties, but not sure where to go and would like some assistance or an assistant?

I first started wearing my mother’s lingerie, a light green sheer baby doll nightie, with matching sheer panties. I was  11 or 12 years of age at the time. By the time I was 13 I was wearing her panties, bras, garter belts, stockings and dresses. That was in the late 60’s, I had long hair, a slim figure and I looked very feminine. I dressed almost every day during school holidays as both my parents worked. At first it was a sexual turn on dressing as I did in lingerie. Today it is more that I just enjoy dressing and being feminine. I love going out dressed as it is exhilarating. I told my wife many years ago about dressing in my mother’s lingerie and she took me panty shopping. We still do this together, often buying matching panties that we wear together. I am straight and love being with my wife dressed in our panties and I don’t think there is anything wrong with dressing as a woman. Life is too short and experiencing your feminine side is a wonderful thing.
