Hi I am very new have only worn thong and thigh highs how do I size myself for womens clothes?
The first thing you have to do if find out your measurements: chest, waist and hips. Now if you're going to wear a breast form, you have to include that in your chest measurement and the same if you're going to wear hip padding. What I then suggest is look at some of these place on line selling women's clothing such as Macy. They usually have a chart size that will give you an idea of the size you'll need. Now this will be good for buying skirts and blouses in actual sizes, but not so good for a actual size for a dress. Most men are bigger in the chest then women, so it will be hard to find a dress in actual size that will fit. This is why I usually buy dresses in the small, medium or large sizes with some stretch to them.
Welcome
I'm just getting back to dressing myself. What Edie said is the best advice. If you have a friend who can help you then go out and find some stores that are friendly to us. Many will help you and let you try things on. Just don't be creepy.
In my case, I'm getting a new week after I get paid next week then I'll be learning how to do makeup better and starting the process of building a wardrobe.
I suggest you go slow as everything is exciting when you're new and lots of money can be wasted. Get good quality basics and build from there. Going slow will also help you figure out how sizing works. I have no clue and I'm dreading it as size can be all over the place. So I recommend erring on the larger side when in doubt. But that's me.
Hello Joani and welcome . Its new exciting world but as was stated, tàke your time! The online sizing charts are helpful but theres alot of trial and error that goes with it. We look forward to seeing more from you
