A CD couple have set-up a 2024 Cruise for Alaska (Inside Passage) to provide CDs and their spouses/SOs an opportunity to explore the world in style and safety. While a public event, it is designed to appeal to both those who have never ventured into the public and those who have. Their cruises typically attract about 2 dozen CDs and spouses/SOs. It is a great way to enjoy one's femininity and meet others. One can dress as often or as little as desired. There are formal eves for those who want to showcase their elegant gowns. Those who desire being pampered are most welcome in salons which offer massages, facial treatments, mani-pedis, and other feminine pleasures.
Attached is the link to sign up for the cruise. It has details about the cruise and the itinerary.
This year the group is sailing on the Regal Princess from Vancouver, departing Aug. 27 and returning September 3.
The hosts are travel agents who specialize in assisting other CDs. Their efforts on this cruise are exclusively devoted to that audience. They can arrange for a hotel at the port city where all can meet upon arrival and departure. They arrange transportation to and from the hotel to the port, and/or to/from the airport. They can do more if desired.
If you need any special accommodations like an ADA room, please let them know. They can make arrangements for it. For those seeking a roommate, they can help.
Currently the air, hotels and transportation are not included in the price.
The hosts typically arrange for the group to sit together for dinners as desired. I will try to help facilitate meetups onboard or for shore excursions for any willing to share information needed for me to create a group contact list and facilitate contacts. Coordinating this in advance of the cruise is helpful.
Travelers wishing to use their own travel agents are free to do so, while still benefiting from the services mentioned above.
If interested, prompt action can best secure desired accommodations, which tend to disappear rapidly. Contact details can be found at:
Group Registration (dreamvacationsgroups.com)
If you have any questions, please PM me or contact the hosts using the website listed above.
Rhonda,
Have you been on this cruise? If so, how do the crew and other non cd passengers react to people cding on board? Is it awkward?
Kerri
I tried to reply earlier, but can't tell if I sent it. Everyone is fine... no negative reactions from anyone in the 3 cruises I have been on, aside from denial of my taking the zip line wearing a skort... women must wear shorts or pants and I packed none. I travel en femme from the time I leave home until my return after switching back and forth first cruise and finding it unnecessary. I have had many interesting encounters but none the least bit unpleasant. It is an uplifting, ego-boosting experience, and a chance to bond with other CDs and their SOs/spouses.
That sounds sooooo awesome ! One of my bucket list items is to go on a cruise (preferably Alaskan vs. Caribbean due to the cooler temps) as Wendy. I'd love to experience what it would be like being called "ma'am" as opposed to sir.
But sigh, the time frame for this cruise is when both my wife and my work become incredibly busy and it is a blackout time for vacay from work. One day tho.
We've been on the same Alaskan cruise twice already, once departing from YVR and the other SEA. From personal experience, departing from SEA was a better experience as the port crew are way faster embarking/disembarking than YVR.
It's something I would like to do, but I've never heard of such a cruise originating here in "Oz". Plus my age and a long standing lower back complaint means I'd probably spend more time "in pain rather than pleasure".
But all the b(r)e(a)st) form to all who do it.
Caty.
