This is just a feeler, to see if anyone in the Toronto region wants to meet NYE.
My wife and I are planning to spend some time at the old/new Woodbine Casino, now called the Grandstand Casino, so we could be there for a few hours. Depends on how long our seed money lasts. I will probably dress somewhat stealthily, not full on en femme, although there is some sort of big, gender-neutral / wheelchair accessible washroom beside the Copperhorn restaurant, if you need to dress there. The capacity has been expanded to 13,200, so there shouldn't be any restrictions getting in, now.
Because it will be crowded, I highly recommend wearing a mask during this peak COVID season.

We are supposed to lock events when they expire, but I don't see a locking icon.
to me it would say "close" and have a lock over the word...
I'll come through in a few days and close everything appropriate.
Maybe one only sees it with the right rank. It would be handy if the thread starter could do it.
