@jennifer2025 Hi Jennifer! I'm in the DC area and the 2 main groups that I've found on Meetup.com are:
- D.C. Area Transgender Ladies Socials and Events (DCATS)
- The DC Regional Trans Ladies' Community
You should be able to find either on Meetup, but if you have any issues let me know and I'll send the URLs in a private message. Many people belong to both groups (yours truly), so don't hesitate to join both.
The summer is a bit of a slower time for events as people are away on vacation and such, but there's a good sized event happening in Shirlington, VA on Sept 14th.
I've been in both groups about 1½ years, so let me know if you have any questions!

@melodeescarlet Hi Jennifer! BIG THANKS to Melodee for your responsive support, info. and vouching for each group! Jennifer, I've enjoyed several socials and galas with both, too. The DCATS girls often meet in Northern Virginia, Fairfax County in particular, at a very welcoming hotel lounge.
The DC Regional ladies group meets in suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia. How fortunate we are in the District, Maryland, Virginia (the DMV) and beyond, having TWO active, well managed and attended Transwomen /CD social groups. Do try out one or both in August and the Fall!
