New to Houston, TX area. Where are some places to go? A place to let loose and dress. I did not have that problem really in California and parts of Florida but don't know where to begin.

I'm in Norfolk in the UK so can't help, but I'm sure that there are many members local to you who WILL be able to. I've just had a look in the 'Find Friends' section (go to the Header bar and click on 'Social') and it looks like we're pretty well represented in your neck of the woods.

How are the beaches near Galveston? In California and Florida I always wore my denim booty shorts (low cut and leggy) and a tank top and nobody would even notice.

Probably the best beaches near the Galveston area would be along Bolivar Peninsula, between Oceanshore and Gilchrist. There was a lot of destruction on the peninsula following a recent hurricane. Don't know what the area's like these days. On the weekends those beaches often would be crowded, but during the work week, the sands were practically deserted.
