Romans Originals.... Great shop

My wife and I spent a great day in Abergavenny, a small town about 45 minutes drive from our home in Cardiff.
Abergavenny is a great place to go shopping. A great market, great independent shops, loads of charity shops... And a small shopping centre.
In this shopping centre is a Romans Originals Romans can be quite expensive but they always have a great sale rail. On this sale rail they had a stunning shift dress in a wollen mix. I'm between sizes. I used to be a UK20, but I'm slowly losing weight and now a 20 often seems too big for me. This dress was an 18. It was stunning, but was it going to be too small? We were a long drive from home, so popping back to return it later wasn't really an option. The only way to be sure that thus dress fitted was to try it on. I took the dress up to the two ladies behind the pay desk and asked if they would mind me trying it on. "Not at all" came the reply. I went in to the changing room and tried the dress on... It fitted like it was made for me. It really was perfect, and at £40 less than original price, I had to have it. I changed back into my man clothes and took the dress, and a couple that my wife had tried on to the till. They asked if it fitted Ok, and said feel free to try anything else on. I declined the offer and paid for the goods.
Not only do Romans sell great stuff, but the staff are amazing. They didn't bat an eye at a man asking to try on dresses. The were extremely polite, and friendly. At no time did I feel any unease. Very impressed! If you find yourself in South Wales, Pay Romans Originals a try in Abergavenny.
