Safe places in Iowa

Erica, so where in Iowa are you from? I have had great times in Iowa City getting make overs at Ulta and then visiting the Riverside Casino. Everyone is so nice and accepting. The mall there in Coralville is a great place to shop. Chico's is wonderful to ladies like us.  Hope this helps you a little. I just turned 60 and spent 2 days over there in late August. WOW what a wonderful time.

I am in northern Iowa, Mason City but going out of town to dress and feel safe is not a problem. I have just started going out in public and so far only late at night and places I am not going to encounter a lot of people. I really want to go out and be social but being a straight man who likes to dress it's hard to find places to fit in. Thank you for the suggestion and when I do go I will let you know how it went.

I've been able to find a few places in west Iowa...unfortunately, they are not the bars or clubs that you are probably seeking. I'm talking about a couple of lakes I found that are not well known and I can swim around in women's swimsuits in the concealment from the darkness of night. Unfortunately, the lasting effects from the recent river flooding is not helping me go out and enjoy those places though.

Thank you at this point I am looking for any place that is accepting and free of hassle. I would like to socialize with others open minded and not judgmental.

Hello I'm from Waterloo Cedar Falls area. there is a bar in Waterloo called Kings and Queen's. I'm like you straight but I love dressing I've never been there dressed. I have seen a few people dressed.
