My wife and I are visiting Manchester for a few days in September.I am toying with the idea of going out dressed en femme for the very first time.I know the Citycentre quite well from previous visits. My question is would I be safe going to the usual places we go to..?Namely M&S ,the restaurants in Mosely Street Bridgewater Hall and The Old Wellington Inn.As I have a curly hair I could psss in a distance but could essily be read by the more astute.Anyone know if crossdrrssers and transgendered folk in non LGBT areas of the city would be accepted?.I wouldn't have a great deal of confidence walking into the downstairs bar of The Old Wellington dressed as a female even at non busy times.as I know from experience that the manager is an awkward character at the best of times.I am also concerned about security at the hotel we are staying in Premier Inn in Mosely Street.Would I be challanged by reception if I am seen entering the hotel enfemme when I have been previously seen checking in in male mode?.As said I am not thinking of doing this for definite. However,if I did would we be safe.?
Thanks Roberta.
