On Saturday I went out to a local bar where a crossdresser/trans event hold place. A safe space had been provided to get dressed so I had the possibility to get ready there. I met a many fellow girls and had a fantastic time. The bar closed unfortunately quite early but I went to two other places with 2 lovely ladies from the event. I was really surprised on the way nobody "took care " of us and gave looks etc. In the other bars everyone was really supportive and accepting. I still can't believe how great it was to be completely myself out in public. I have gained a lot of courage again and I feel ready to go out more often.
@sophia91 its quite a revelation to spend time out in public, whether at a bar in the evening or a coffee shop in mid day. It can be so very rewarding to present your real self to the world!

Evelyn, Getting out is what it's all about. Why spend the time and $$$ to look pretty and stay indoors?
Getting out builds confidence, and is fun as well. The more you get out, the more enjoyable it becomes.
