Hi gals, I thought I'd tell you about my day. Woke up at 9:30ish after a late night at work and decided to relax in bed for a while. Too long actually, had an eye test at 11:30 got out of bed at 11:07. So did the 10 minute shuffle and managed to get there just the 10 minutes late. The opticians wad in a super market so did abiit of shopping. Whist doing so a guy complimented me my "killer shoes". That felt amazing.
Whist trying to get home, which was a story in itself, but I won't bore you with it, I was talking to my best friend. She was in the process of being stood up. So when I got home I insisted she come to mine so I could comfort her. I couldn't go out, as I had an appointment for my first jab at 5:30 and it was already 2 ish.
After making sure she was ok I went for out for my jab. Got there only to be told and I quote "they have changed the policy for under 40s and I need to rebook for next week". Thanks for telling me in advance I thought and wasting my time and £7 on a transport.
When I got back I finished of the chicken con carnni I was making, I vented to my friend a little. We were both stood up by the NHS today, she joked, she was supposed to be meeting a paramedic earlier.
We had a bottle of wine with it. Afterwards she told me I'm not a cat, as I always joke, I'm a butterfly freshly out of my cacoon, and reverated I would always be beautiful to her.
I love the sister Ive chosen, if you get my meaning. It was a lovely reminder of the amazing relationship me and Charlotte have. She doesn't mind me using her name.
Love Trisha
Hi honey, jab is English slang for vacation and NHS means National Health Service.
