A pink storm ?

Over the last couple of weeks I seem to have been in a bit of pink funk; it started off as a mild pink fog when out girl shopping but has been intensifying. Perhaps being able to dress again after such a long time has released pent-up needs. I thought it would just fade off as it does sometimes, but it got quite intense last week and I named it the ‘pink storm’;  I felt mostly frustrated in some ways about not being able to find the clothes I needed.

I decided to get some retail therapy in and did some more girl clothes shopping last week, but found nothing suitable in store for my size (UK 24); there were few things I have wanted for a while so I moved my shopping online. I had some man-drobe items to get so I checked out the usual sites for womens things as well - to my delight I actually found the things I had been looking for a while and ordered them too

• a pack of two femme lacy bras to replace my ‘clunky’ comfort ones
• full slip with lacy hem
• midi denim skirt
• black midi dress
• midi sleeveless summer dress 
• satin nightdress

I felt much better after I had done the orders but still very pinky ...I turned to my wishlist ...

• Breast Forms - I found a site that posted to a collection point in a shop - just what I needed; found the product I wanted and ordered a pair. 
• Wig - I spotted a nearly new one on Ebay,  it had a large cap size which I need but not quite the style & colour  I wanted but cheap - so I bought it. My own hair is OK but is starting to get a bit thin on top so I thought it would be a good one to try as my first wig.
• Shoes - I found one site that nominally sold them in my size (uk 13), but they did not currently have them in stock, but I set up a notification for the styles I was interested in, so will have to wait a while before I can order

A very enjoyable and successful bout of online retail therapy (and a lot more spent than I had anticipated). All the items are on their way. Hopefully they will all be here within a week or so, in time for my next opportunity to dress.

After I ordered the breast forms the ‘pink storm’ just seemed to fizzle out; after thinking for a while I realised I had been dissatisfied for some time with the way my bust line looked,  I have been using ‘rice in tights’ home-made falsies. The new breast forms will be a major improvement.
