About four times a year my wife and I take a long weekend trip with me dressed En femme. This past Memorial Day we took a four day trip starting Friday. My wife worked until noon and I picked her up wearing my steel-grey dress with black leggings that has cutouts on the lower legs. The dress falls to just above my knees and has a round neck. I was wearing my pink athletic shoes adorned with hearts.
We had lunch at Steak ‘n Shake and drove from West Tennessee North through Kentucky into Illinois where we stopped for the first night. We did some shopping at the mall where I purchased a pair of faux pearl stud earrings. We had dinner at Applebees where the waitress commented me on my leggings and cute shoes.
On day two, I put on a maxi dress with a fitted red top with a full flowing black skirt with printed roses and black sandals. We skipped breakfast at the hotel and went to Starbucks. After breakfast we drove and arrived in Moline Illinois just in time to have lunch at Logomarcino’s, a quaint candy store and soda fountain with a lunch area. After lunch, we drove around looking at the sites until it was time to check into the hotel. After checking in we started getting ready for our evening at a dinner show. We booked seats for the Jersey Boys musical in Rock Island. I wore a black below the knee dress that has 20 faux pearls on both sheer long sleeves and a matching belt. I matched it with my new pearl earrings a pearl necklace and my moonstone bracelet which looks like pearls. I put on a headband with pearls. I wore my black sandals with silver straps. The night was amazing; I recommend the musical if you have the chance to see it. It was our fourth time seeing it.
On Sunday morning, a pink top with a V-neckline. I paired it with my black midi skirt with an irregular hemline, black belt and pink shoes. After breakfast at the hotel we continued our trip to Springfield Illinois where we had lunch at a restaurant near the Lincoln museum. After lunch we visited the Lincoln museum and his home in Springfield before checking into our hotel. At the hotel I changed into my new skirted swimsuit and we headed to the hot tub in the pool area to relax. In an hour we went back to the room and showered to wash off the chlorine. We got dressed to go out to dinner. I put on the same outfit I wore that morning and we went to Bob Evan’s. There weren’t many patrons in the restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive and the manager stopped by our desk and chatted for a long while. We went back to the hotel after dinner.
On Memorial Day, I wore a cute above the knee dress with four crisscross straps on the low cut V-cut black top. The skirt of this dress was a black and floral print. I wore black sandals. After breakfast we started on our journey back to West Tennessee.
The trip was amazing. It is always thrilling when it is time to use the rest room and every trip I am nervous the first time or two. But after that it was as natural as if an everyday occurrence. Other ladies and girls never gave me a side glance. The only glitches on our trip was that my favorite anklet broke and I lost it. A few of my gel nails come loose and off but I have my black light and glue to reattach them.
Thanks for reading.
Hi Kimmie,
Sounds like you enjoyed an amazing weekend!

Kimmie, wow that was an amazing story. You spent an entire weekend en femme and had fun in Illinois. As a lifetime resident, I long to live somewhere else before I die, but I appreciate the legacy of Abe Lincoln, maybe the best president in American history.
Congratulations Kimmie. Thanks for shjaring the experience.

That sounds like one hell of a road trip, way to go girl!
I'd love to do something like that. Wouldn't be with my OH though, sadly we're very DADT. Nothing to stop me doing it on my own though 🙂
sounds like a wonderful time spent dressed up with your wife. Did you encounter any issues?
Sounds like you had a wonderful time, Kimmie! I can so relate. I spent the same four days in Las Vegas, completely en femme, although I was alone. I was dressed up the entire time, went out to shows, dinner, the casino, just walking, even took the bus! Got some stares, but generally people were really nice and I made a couple of friends, too. It was absolutely wonderful and I'd do it again!
Like you, I was sad when it was over, but I know this isn't the end and there will be more opportunities.
