An afternoon shopping trip & time at home

it had been 3 weeks since my last chance to dress, a couple of days ago I had a whole afternoon to myself as my SO was visiting a relative.

With it being cold, overcast and a bit windy I had decided on a shopping trip (rather than a walk by the sea – brrrh ). After I dropped off my SO to catch the train I got home and started to get changed - the phone rang – an important call that I had to answer; it was a long call. So after that delay I finished getting dressed – opaque knee highs, skinny jeans, top, cardigan and warm anorak.

So out to the car and off, the traffic was awful – very slow – time was going on so I changed my destination. I had intended to go further afield but settled on one of the local shopping areas about 20 minutes drive away; parking ticket obtained and then off up round the shops – I browsed the women's clothes in charity shops (nothing found), into a newsagent to look for a magazine, then to get some 60d black tights I needed, then back to the car. On the way home I stopped at another smaller shopping area to look round the charity shops for clothes.

I enjoyed my shopping trip even though I didn't find any clothes I liked, it was just nice to be out and about.

When I got home I wanted to be feel more femme, so I got changed. I put on some 15d natural tan tights, a navy skirt and wine red floral top and some comfy slippers. First thing a warm drink, then some home office paperwork to do (go through the post, Emails, bills etc). I was about to go back to man-mode when the SO rang me to say she was going to be an hour or so late – so more girl time for me :). I had time for a light lunch and watched some TV , a friend of my SO rang up so I chatted to her for a bit. Then it was time to get back into man-mode and off to pick up the SO.
