As much as i like to dress up one thing I really really want I probably will never get being a closet dresser. I really want bikini top sun tan lines, so that everyone, including me, can see that I have been wearing a bra top - in someways soooo feminine

I would love to sunbathe in a bikini but I'm not there yet. I do like it when I'm out in a tank top and get that type of tan lines. It helps when I wear sleeveless dresses. I also like how far up on my legs the tan goes when I wear my shorter women's shorts.
I have accomplished your goal Sally. This year, i took the plunge with switching to bikini's at the pool for the summer. Up until then, i only wore one piece suits. I pre tan in my yard before the heat of summer to avoid any hint of the dreaded farmers tan. Just bought a new floral bikini bottom on sale for the end of summer.
I like the look of those tan lines after a shower, looking in the mirror.

I am a bikini tan fan as well. I will occasionally have a bit of a top tan, but always have a bikini bottom tan these days. I swim at the gym as well as other work outs there, so having a bikini top in the locker room is a bit of a problem, but the bittom just looks like a skimpy Speedos tan.
Trick I found for having a bikini top tan is get it early in the season when minimal sun give more distinct lines. Then when you want to "get rid" of it just tan more. It will disappear quicker by tanning over it then it will letting it fad, which can take months to completely fade, where tanning over it can hide it in just a couple of days.
spot on JJ. I learned the hard way.
for several years I would take a weekday off and take my boat out alone. Find a secluded spot to anchor. I’d go in the cabin and change into my red or yellow 2 piece and spend the afternoon just enjoying myself. I thought I was being careful to not get unexplainable tan lines but my plan didn’t work. I loved how the tan lines looked but had to stay covered up for a week until I could tan again without the top. After that I learned to keep a t shirt or cover up on when I was in the sun
fake tan formulas?
For those who want temporary tan lines, I would thnk a spay tan would work quite well and only last a week or so. While have never done it, I would think the spray technician would be fine with treating a CD. My experience with such have always been very positive. Make up artists, wax salons or nail salons don't care.
You could try fake tan or an all over foundation for the look? I run and have tan-lines that are near-permanent. Tanned legs that stop at the ankles and a watch-strap line and vest lines.
I'd be careful for what you wish for. A couple of years ago I went to the beach at the end of August in a one-piece bathing suit. I forgot to reapply sunscreen during the day and had a distinctive tan line. I was self conscious of the tan line for a few months after that when changing in the gym at work. Fortunately no one discovered it.
That is half the fun.
As I said, it can take months for a tan line to fade, so the secret to getting rid of one is to tan over them, which can happen surprisingly quickly.
I have always had a thing for bikini tan lines. I would love to wear a one and get my own tan lines. My wife would not be ok with that, sadly.
My wife is fine with my bikini butt tan, but did comment once when I accidentally got a bikini top tan. I must have been wearing a thin shirt with a bikini underneath as I had no intention of getting tanned. She just said, "You are going to have a hard time explaining that tan." The next day I just went out in the sun wirhout a shirt and they lines disappeared.
Wow that was awesome! My tan didn't turn out so good.
