Morning ladies,
I just wanted to share this as I’m still on a high. Last night I dressed, did my makeup, wig and some lovely perfume before I ventured out. Mine you it was only Walmart but like I’ve said before in our posts …. Baby steps. So I looked around, tried on some sandals, picked put a few pairs of pantyhose and some chocolate for my wife. I headed for the self check and for the first time since I’ve started going out there was a line up to check out. Oh boy now the nerves start going. At first I was last in line until more people started lining up behind. Trying to stay calm and confident I over heard the mother and daughter who were a couple people back in line say. “ mom is that lady wearing pantyhose in the summer?” I was a little nervous as I knew they were talking about me until the mother replied “ if I had legs like that I’d wear them too”. I swear my smile must have been extending outside my mask. It made me feel amazing inside and I’m still smiling now.

Wow what a lovely compliment to hear Ashley. Fabulous to have the confidence to venture out, and in most cases a vast majority of people are completely unaware that you are in fact a CD, and many aren't bothered even if they realised.

My confidence for my look is good just still not a 100% of the voice so yes self check for now. I have checked out at the registers as well as I’ve just tried on the clothes or shoes with the sales associate!
